High View School Year 5/6

Cross Curricular Viking Project

*This was designed as a homeschooling project where year 5 and 6 children were sent an instructional video with templates during lockdown . At that time; due to Covid lockdown restriction I was unable to work face to face with the children so we decided I would create 7 large sculptures based on the 2D designs the children had produced at home . However, now as a result of children being able to return to school they have each been able to realise their designs as a cardboard 3D form. We will therefore now have a 90 strong army of sculptures made by the children and these will be displayed in a continuous freeze around the school.
